The PGM Seniors Championship 2017 starts today at Kota Seriemas Golf & Country Club, with the first tee-off at 7.30 am. Morning play took place in cloudy condition but the weather stayed firm throughout the morning, with light drizzle only breaking out at the end of the first round of play, which ended at around 1.30 pm.

Muhammad Rusli Johari posted the best score, carding 3 birdies and 5 bogeys to finish at 2-over 74. However, he is only leading the field by one shot from Jamaluddin Bador, with many others close behind.

There are still plenty of golf to play, and the field is nicely bunched up together for an exciting 2nd round tomorrow.
